Cardi B’s fan smash hit song WAP have been injuring themselves trying to dance along to moves in videos posted on TikTok which involves performing a complicated series of moves, ranging from a leaping high kick to doing the splits while twerking.

The raunchy song, released on August 7 and featuring Megan Thee Stallion, went straight to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. It drew 93 million U.S. streams in the week ending August 13, according to the latest figures the most for any track ever in its first week of release.

It seems TikTok’s latest dance trend is not for the faint of heart or the untrained dancer. A complicated routine set to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s summer hit WAP has entranced the app’s users, and has officially claimed at least one victim.

You’re not going to be able to wear a skirt for at least a week because your legs will be covered in bruises. I also suffered a pinched neck from her WAP dance disaster.

TikTok user performs demanding series of moves

A user by the name of lib_bbbbbbb shared footage of herself attempting the dance and it goes horribly wrong, to say the least.

Never doing the WAP dance again which showed her kicking her legs in the air, attempting a split and falling down before it transitioned to footage of her on the ground, lying on a stretcher then lying in the hospital with a brace on her knee and an IV in her arm. Popped her knee out doing a TikTok dance can’t make this up. Please guys be safe while doing the WAP WAP WAP.
