TikTok the most popular video sharing app announced a new Snapchat stories like feature ‘TikTok Stories’ is under development. The new feature was highlighted by Matt Navarra on Twitter account later on, the feature’s on going testing confirmed by the TikTok spokesperson.

The feature will works like Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook

Like Instagram and Snapchat, the TikTok stories will also be automatically disappear after 24 hours, users will be able to react and comment on the story and can also see user’s profile picture and stories that they follow.

How users can add stories?

Users can create a new story by pressing create button that’s been added to the sidebar, and they can add the usual captions, music, and text. True to TikTok’s video-first nature, it seems stories have to be videos, not still images.
