Jumping In Front of Moving Truck TikTok Challenge Kills Two Teens

Bandung – Indonesia: Another dangerous TikTok challenge named Malaikat Maut translated as Angel of Death has reportedly claimed two teenagers lives after they jumped in front of moving trucks.

On Friday, June 3, three Indonesian teenagers at Tangerang, Banten attempted the challenge by jumping in front of a moving truck. While performing the challenge two of them managed to jump out of the truck’s path but unfortunately, one of them couldn’t managed to jump out of the way on time. The truck collided with the teen and he rolled under the vehicle. The 18-year-old passed away on the spot.

A teenager who recklessly stopped in front of a moving truck at Jl. Otista, Karawaci in the town of Tangerang has died on Friday morning (Jun. 3). Just yesterday there was a raid, and they’re causing trouble again. More than 10 of them gathered. One died after he was hit by a container, according to a forwarded Whatsapp message.

A 14-year-old hospitalize after attempting Angel of Death TikTok challenge

A day earlier on Thursday, Two teens boy in the city of Bandung, West Java attempted the Angel of Death challenge. One boy managed to jump out of the way, while the truck collided with the 14-year-old boy shattering his teeth and fracturing his skull. The truck driver allegedly fled the scene after the incident and now faces hit-and-run charges. Police are currently locating the driver.

The challenge is popular among the teens in Indonesia

The challenge even dates back to last July when a 13-year-old boy passed away in North Cikarang District, Bekasi City when a truck driver failed to brake in time. Though it seems like the trend has made an unwanted comeback as of late. Another teen was also injured in the same incident.

So far, it doesn’t seem like the challenge has spread outside of Indonesia yet, and hopefully, it ends up staying that way. Police urged teenagers to stop making such content.
